DEFINITION: It is a product derived from yellow corn that belongs to the species Zea mays, L. The raw material when it arrives in the Industry undergoes a rigorous quality control, being classified and properly stored in its own silos. To obtain the product, the raw material goes through the following process: pre-cleaning, cleaning, automatic or manual de-germination / scarification / degermination of the grain, burnishing (stone polishing), rehydration, grinding, sifting and finally toasting. Each batch of the product is strictly controlled, following the rules of the Ministry of Health, in order to ensure the quality and uniformity of the product.

UTILITY: Preparation of savory or sweet dishes such as farofas, cakes, pies, cookies or as a simple accompaniment in the daily diet.

We warn that: Corn flour is gluten-free, but it is susceptible to crossing with gluten foods during the process.

ALLERGIC: May contain wheat and derivatives, rye, barley, oats and their hybridized strains, soy and derivatives, eggs, fish, crustaceans (shrimp and crab), peanuts, cashews, pecans and hazelnuts.

3. The “Biju” characteristic is extremely accentuated in the product, in view of the exclusion of kneading at the time of roasting, which preserves the thickness, softness and grandeur of the flakes (Biju).
